Abstract of the talk:
Currently, there are more than 170 RNA modifications known. The role of majority of them is unclear. We are using alternative approaches for discovery of new RNA modifications and for understanding their role. In my talk, I will mention some RNA modifications in viruses and our discovery of new class of 5´ RNA caps in bacteria.
