Valentina defended her PhD thesis. Big congratulations!

The second big event in our laboratory this week was the PhD defense of Valentina Serianni. Valentina delivered an absolutely outstanding defense of her thesis, “Role, Biogenesis, and Biodegradation of Dinucleoside Polyphosphate RNA Caps in Prokaryotes.” She is now heading to the Yale School of Medicine for her postdoctoral stay — and we are already missing her! Big congratulations, Valentina — we are super proud of you!
