### Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences

The IOCB ranks among the best scientific institutes in Central Europe. It is historically tied to nucleic acid chemistry and it is the place where a globally used anti HIV therapy (Tenofovir – actually the best antiviral treatment available) was developed by Prof. A. Holý.
